- March 27–30, 2026
- ICC Conference Hall, Constructor University
For 3 days, students and alumni will come together to design and build real GenAI solutions in collaboration with BMW Group, Lovable, Constructor Tech, and Constructor Knowledge Labs, co-hosted by Constructor University and the Beyond the Pond Alumni Association.
At Constructor Knowledge Labs, we’ll be leading one of the three hackathon tracks:
Perception algorithms for autonomous racing
In this track, participants will work with real-world sensor data collected from our autonomous racing car, including synchronized camera and LiDAR datasets. The goal is to develop perception and localization approaches, such as camera-based localization or multi-modal racing track segmentation, and demonstrate how these methods can support autonomous driving in demanding environments.
The other tracks include:
- BMW: AI-powered workforce and leadership strategy tools
- Constructor Tech: AI-driven learner engagement analysis
All projects will be built on Lovable, a no-code platform designed to make AI development more accessible and collaborative.
You can join solo or with a team, groups consist of 2–3 people. If you sign up individually, you’ll be matched with teammates through Constructor Connect.
Registration is open here: https://connect.constructor.org/event/constructor-genai-hackathon-2026
The event will begin with a keynote by Philipp Brandt – CU alum, professor, and author of Inside Data Science – followed by an expert panel bringing together voices from across our industry partners.
More details about the tracks are coming soon. We’re looking forward to thoughtful solutions, strong prototypes, and conversations that continue well beyond the hackathon.
